The Fantasia Fair Fashion Show
These are not your mother's fashions! Wait! Oh yes, THEY are!
Being in the fashion show is a ton of fun and a great way to get some modeling and stage experience. The audience is always warm, welcoming, and
out to have a good time. In the entire history of the Fair, no one has ever died from entering the Fashion Show! Enhance your Fair experience
and become a FanFair model.
This year the Fantasia Fair Fashion Show will place at the Paramount Theater in the Crown & Anchor. The show will be held on that Wednesday during
the Fair, from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm. There will be a 20-minute intermission. Once again your hostesses will be the ever-charming Liz Winters and the
vivacious Robyn Kohlar. In 2006, these gals took over the reigns from two of Fantasia Fair's most beloved gals - the lovely Andrea Susan and the
notorious Miqqi Alicia. Robyn and Liz have some big shoes to fill!
If you want to join in, it’s easy. You will be asked to model three outfits which you have brought with you. They begin with very casual and
work their way up to formal. The three categories are as follows:
- Casual: At the beach, garden or game.
- Daytime: Working, malling, or shopping or just having fun.
- All Dolled up: Formal wear ~ anything from opera to wedding.
We’d love it if you can make some notes on what you’ve brought. We’re interested in how and where you got the clothes, what they’re made of,
what the labels are, and any fun stories connected to them.
So bring your glad rags, your fun rags, your best rags – and don’t forget accessories! We’ll help you get organized, and provide some top flight
assistance in how to walk and perform on a runway.
Remember to sign up as a fashion show participant real early – we’ve time and space for only so many of you beautiful models. Signing up
takes place Monday afternoon in the Paramount Room of the Crown & Anchor. Check the
daily schedule for the exact time.
